Registration before 9.11. in Kuksa. Event fee is 45 €. Sibling fee is 22,50 €. For Cubs with program, transportation and meals for Friday-Saturday is 25 €.
Here is the list of the gear to take with you. Please put names on every item. It helps us to find the owner of the lost and found stuff.
A scout scarf
A backpack or a large bag, which the scout can easily carry
A sleeping bag and a sleeping matress. If the scout decides to sleep outside be sure that the sleeping bag is a three season bag (min. -5 C)
A drinking bottle
Clothing suitable to the weather and nature. Also spare clothes. Remember water proof, warmth and outdoor use.
Clothes also for inside activities, wool socks or slippers
Personal hygiene equipment: a towel, a toothbrush etc.
Personal medicine. Advise the leaders if the scout needs supervising.
A clean and washed tin can like (Mutti 400 g)
A soft toy for the night
A notebook and a pen
A book to read
A compass, a knife (keep it in a bag until you need it in program) and a flash light or a head light
When you pack your gear please be sure that they all fit in the bag or backpack. Loose small bags tend to get lost.
Parents: Pack the gear with the scout. For this there are two major reasons. First the kid learns to pack and secondly the kid knows what is in the bag. The main principle is that a scout carries his gear.
Leave the mobile phone home. Leaders have mobiles if we need to call to parents.
A little amount of goodies is allowed. No soft drinks.
