We are organizing first aid training to our members. First aid skills are civil skills and cornerstone of scout's skill set in helping and serving others.
The course is in September 26th to 27th from 10:00-16:00 at Mankkaan Makasiini.
Training is organized by Finnish Red Cross trainers and you get a certificate after the training.
This course is for members over 15 years, ie. trackers, explorers, rovers and adults. We will have two courses. The Emergency First Aid-training is only on Saturday.
Wild Eagles is sponsoring the training with 50%. First Aid 1 is 50 € and Emergency First aid is 30 €.
The FRC First Aid Course EA 1® is the most popular and comprehensive basic first aid course. The course provides you with knowledge and skills that allow you to help in emergencies and with the most typical illnesses and accidents. This is a course to start or update your previous course if it is older than three years.
The FRC Emergency First Aid 8 h includes emergency first aid theory as well as practical training on the most important emergency first aid measures under the guidance of an instructor. You will learn resuscitation, first aid for suffocation, how to use a defibrillator and how to stop heavy bleeding.
This course also allows you to update a valid FRC First Aid Course EA 1® or FRC First Aid Course EA 2® qualification once. The updated qualification is valid for three years.
