Väiski is a scout camp for Espoo and Kauniainen scout troops, which is now being held for the 12th time. Väiski is organized by Espoon Partiotuki or EPT, which is the regional organization of the Espoo and Kauniainen scout troops. The camp is a huge collective project executed together in the style of troop camps, in a relaxed way and without the rigid hierarchies of large jamborees. The camp will be held in July 2026 in Ahtela, Sauvo, and 2200 participants are expected to attend.

Participation in the camp is primarily based on the age section of the group you belong to in your scout troop during the spring. Please note that the ages connected to each age section are approximate and may vary depending on the scout troop. If you’re unsure about your age section, you can contact your own scout troop. It’s especially important for trackers and explorers to confirm their chosen age section for Väiski with their troop, because if 50 % of a patrol turns 15 during 2026, the entire group can join the camp as explorers if they want
